56AVP PMT - First Fast Photomultiplier
Two page extract from the Philips PMT Catalog, 1993. See Figure 1 for a diagram of the world's first commercial fast PMT. This 14-stage linear-focused photomultiplier tube had a S-11 photocathode and a 2 ns rise time.
