Hubble Space Telescope:

Hole Diameter In Primary Mirror = 0.60 m

Secondary Mirror Diameter = 0.3 m

Distance Between The Two Mirrors = 4.6 m

Focal Plane Distance (from front of primary mirror) = 1.5 m

Sensitivity = 28th Magnitude

Angular Resolution (500 nm) = 0.043 arcsecond

Pointing Accuracy = 0.012 arcsecond

Wavelength Range = 110 - 1100 nm

 

Goddard High-Resolution Spectrograph:

Resolution = 2000 - 100,000

Magnitude Range = 17-11 mv

Wavelength Range = 105 - 320 nm

 

Faint-Object Spectrograph:

Resolution = 250; 1300

Magnitude Range = 19-26 mv

Wavelength Range = 110 - 800 nm

 

High-Speed Photometer:

Magnitude Range < 25 mv

Wavelength Range = 120 - 750 nm
