Venue is on the Big Island of Hawaii. More information about the conference to follow. On the other side of the world on August 11, 1999 a very rare event in the United Kingdom will occur, i.e., a total eclipse of the sun. This may be seen from the south west tip of England (Cornwall and Penzance). I hope to catch both the conference and the eclipse.
Hawaii is my favorite place, which I have visited four times since 1978. Here are four pictures from my huge collection of pictures taken during those previous visits. See you in Hawaii!
